Top Universities Extend Offers! First University Admission Statistics for the 2023-2024 School Year from SuOn Academy!

This year’s offers arrived earlier than usual! Following the first offer received by our student Connor Xing at the end of October for the Engineering program at the University of Alberta, in November, over twenty students received a total of 29 offers early on. These include renowned institutions like the medical and science-focused University of Alberta, University of Ottawa, and the largest Co-op engineering and technology powerhouse, the University of Waterloo. Among these offers, there are popular majors such as Engineering, Medical Sciences, Finance, Business, Physical Sciences, Computer Science, and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Our statistics show that over 40% of the college admissions received by our school so far are for Engineering programs, and majors in Engineering, Science, and Business account for 91.3% of all the offers received.

Upon investigation, it’s not hard to notice that the students from our school who first received offers from prestigious universities not only relied on their own strength and effort but also, importantly, they all joined SuOn Academy as early as Grade 11 or even Grade 10. Arriving earlier allows students to accumulate more local Ontario credits, which, under equal conditions, enables them to gain the favor of top universities sooner. We have previously introduced in our reports the secrets to accelerating offers from top universities:

Firstly, you need to achieve excellent grades in all subjects, especially in crucial courses like English and Mathematics where high scores are a must.

Secondly, you must attain an IELTS score of over 6.5 as early as possible. While others are still struggling with IELTS preparation, you would have already surpassed the 6.5 IELTS requirement, marking off the language standardization test section in your university application.

Next, plan and utilize your weekends early on to accumulate a wealth of volunteer experiences and actively participate in various activities. Engage deeply and think actively in these extracurricular experiences, gaining insights that can be transformed into compelling content when writing essays for popular majors at prestigious universities.

Don’t forget, you must actively seek advice from college counselors during the university application process to receive professional guidance and assistance.

If you can enroll in SuOn as early as Grade 11 or even Grade 10, accumulate more local Ontario credits, and achieve good grades, this will significantly speed up your acceptance into prestigious universities.

In summary, the sooner you meet university requirements in aspects such as credits, grades, IELTS scores, and volunteer experiences, the earlier you can secure offers from prestigious universities.
