2020年十一月“学生之星”荣誉出炉！

Students of the Month for November, seven students are pictured receiving their certificates from Principal Maria and Vice-Principal Sint. These seven students were nominated because they exemplify the character trait of HUMILITY. They demonstrated this by always being helpful to her classmates in a very modest way and in spite of doing excellent academically, and are always willing to improve their learning and accepts advice and criticism very willingly. Congratulations to them!

以上获评“学生之星”的同学乐于帮助他人，始终以谦逊的心态、以提高自我为目标积极参加课堂及校外各项活动。他们能够虚心听取老师给出的反馈和建议，在义工活动中发挥建设性的作用。

安省教育部对于中小学生的Humility（谦逊）定义如下：

     Recognizes the importance of RELATIONSHIPS with others 承认与他人关系的重要性

   

     Cares more about WHAT IS TRUE than who is right 比起谁是对的，更关心什么是真的

Knows and accepts their limitations 知道并接受自身的局限

Are open to criticism and correction 对批评与改正持开放态度

Are open to opportunities to learn and grow 对于学习和成长的机会持开放态度

     Goes out of their way to be HELPFUL to others 用尽全力帮助他人

     

     Has the courage to try new things because they are NOT AFRAID OF FAILURE. 有勇气尝试新事物，不惧怕失败

Are NOT arrogant or SELF-CENTRED 不傲慢，不以自我为中心

校长亲自倡导的“Student of the Month”(每月学生之星)活动，旨在培养同学们积极向上的生活态度，乐于奉献勇于承担的良好品格，为今后的大学生活和工作打好基础。

每个月，学校所有老师及同学根据当月评选主题，提名自己认可的学生为本月学生之星，经校长审核后公布结果，作为学生们学习的典范。而每个月的评选也都会有不同的主题，分别是：

九月：合作

十月：责任心

十一月：谦逊

十二月：同情心

一月：诚实

二月：尊重

三月：包容

四月：自律

五月：公民意识

六月：坚持

校长将为每位当选者亲自准备公示表扬信函，这不仅是一项殊荣，更是为同学们的大学申请累积个人资本！此外，每位学生之星还有一个特殊的奖励：与校长共进午餐！得到来自校长先生的学业建议及人生指导。
