二月份学生之星荣誉出炉

The Students of the Month for February in 2020, nine students are pictured receiving their certificates from Principal Ms. Pereira.

二月份“学生之星”的品质是Respect（尊重），一共有9位同学获得这一荣誉，分别是：

加拿大中学对“尊重”所定义的行为标准如下：

Treats other people the way they would want to be treated
能用别人能接受的方式来对待别人
Shows consideration for other people and their belongings
能考虑并体谅别人和他们所拥有的东西
Uses respectful language such as saying “please” and “thank you”
能使用敬语，例如“请”、“谢谢”
Is polite to everyone – even if they are angry
能对每一个人友善，即使对方在生气的时候
Honours the rules of the home, school and community
能遵守家庭、学校和社区的规章制度

由校长亲自倡导的“Student of the Month”(每月学生之星)活动，旨在培养同学们积极向上的生活态度，乐于奉献勇于承担的良好品格，为今后的大学生活和工作打好基础。

每个月，学校所有老师及同学根据当月评选主题，提名自己认可的学生为本月学生之星，经校长审核后公布结果，作为学生们学习的典范。而每个月的评选也都会有不同的主题，分别是：
九月： 合作

十月： 责任心

十一月：谦逊

十二月：同理心

一月： 诚实

二月： 尊重

三月： 包容

四月： 自律

五月： 公民意识

六月： 坚持

 

校长将为每位当选者亲自准备公示表扬信函，这不仅是一项殊荣，更是为同学们的大学申请累积个人资本！ 此外，学生之星还有机会获得校长邀请共进午餐！得到来自校长的学业建议及人生指导。
