2020-2021学年九月“学生之星”荣誉出炉！

The Students of the Month for September in 2020, eight students are pictured receiving their certificates from Principal Ms. Pereira. They received their nominations for demonstrating CO-OPERATION. They are always helpful, assisting and co-ordinating activities for students and taking care of others when they need help. They led a team of volunteers to devote to the distribution of school uniforms to all the students. Congratulations! We are proud of you!!!

苏安高中2020-2021学年度九月“学生之星”荣誉出炉！

金颖、谷良芳、庄启元、王思远、秦征宇、姜懿玲、於含、龚奕霏 共八位同学被校长Pereira女士授予了九月“合作”主题学生之星的奖状。

安省教育部对“合作”这一品质的定义

LISTENS carefully to others so that they understand what the person is trying to say and includes other people’s ideas 认真倾听对方，从而了解对方表达的意思并包容对方的观点。

SHARES when they have something that others would like to have. 当拥有他们喜欢的东西时，愿意与他人分享。

TAKES TURNS when there is something that nobody wants to do, or when more than one person wants to do the same thing. 有担当去做别人不想做的事情。

COMPROMISES when they have a serious conflict. 当与他人发生严重冲突时能够与他人妥协。

DOES THEIR PART the very best that they possibly can. This will inspire others to do the same. 尽全力把自己分内的事做好，这将激发别人做出相同的举动。

SHOWS APPRECIATION to people for what they contribute. 为别人的贡献表示感谢。

ENCOURAGES PEOPLE to do their best. 鼓励他人尽力做好。

MAKES PEOPLE FEEL NEEDED. Working together is a lot more fun that way. 让别人感受到被需要。这将使合作共事更加有趣。

DOESN’T ISOLATE OR EXCLUDE ANYONE. Everybody has something valuable to offer, and nobody likes being left out. 不要孤立或排斥别人。每个人都有自己的价值，没有人喜欢被排斥。

WORKS with other students they are assigned to so as to not hurt their feelings. 与被老师分配到的其他同学合作，不要伤害到对方的感受。

这八位同学被提名及当选为九月学生之星的原因是她们在日常的学习和生活中表现出了高度的合作精神，积极协调学生活动，参与学生事务管理，在别人需要帮助的时候热心帮助他人！

关于“学生之星”(Student of the Month)

由校长亲自倡导的“Student of the Month”(每月学生之星)活动，旨在培养同学们积极向上的生活态度，乐于奉献勇于承担的良好品格，为今后的大学生活和工作打好基础。

每个月，学校所有老师及同学根据当月评选主题，提名自己认可的学生为本月学生之星，经校长审核后公布结果，作为学生们学习的典范。而每个月的评选也都会有不同的主题，分别是：

九月：合作

十月：责任心

十一月：同情心

十二月：谦逊

一月：诚实

二月：尊重

三月：包容

四月：自律

五月：公民意识

六月：坚持

校长将为每位当选者亲自准备公示表扬信函，这不仅是一项殊荣，更是为同学们的大学申请累积个人资本！此外，学生之星还有机会获得校长邀请共进午餐！得到来自校长的学业建议及人生指导。
